About the role
We are seeking an Assistant Headteacher to join The Matthew Arnold School, part of Bourne Education Trust. You will support the Headteacher and Deputy Headteacher in managing the school, developing and implementing the school's vision, and leading staff with confidence and discretion. This role involves overseeing a Key Stage and working closely with middle leaders to ensure high standards of education and student development. Please note, this is a maternity cover position.

Minimum Requirements
* Qualified Teaching Status
* Understanding of safeguarding policies

* At least 2 years of leadership experience
