Financial Reporting ManagerTeam Valley, Gateshead (Head Office)£50,000 – £55,000 (DOE)Full-time (40 hours per week) Are you a technically strong finance professional looking to step into a high-impact role with real visibility across a business and its parent group? We’re looking for a Financial Reporting Manager to join our team, reporting directly to the Finance Director. This is a key position responsible for leading all internal and external financial reporting, ensuring compliance, and acting as the go-to expert on technical accounting matters. What you’ll be doing: Leading monthly, quarterly and annual group reporting (including IFRS) Managing statutory reporting and external submissions Overseeing tax compliance (Corporation Tax, VAT, Bingo Duty, Machine Games Duty) Preparing tax estimates, returns, and supporting external advisors (KPMG) Driving KPI reporting and supporting budgeting processes Managing R&D tax credits and capital allowance claims Supporting acquisitions with completion accounts Maintaining the tax risk register and ensuring robust governance Submitting ONS and CSR reports Supporting wider finance projects and continuous improvement What we’re looking for: Qualified finance professional (ACA / ACCA / CIMA or equivalent) – essential Strong experience in financial reporting, tax, and compliance Solid understanding of IFRS and technical accounting standards Proactive, detail-driven, and confident working cross-functionally A positive, “can-do” attitude with strong leadership and communication skills What you’ll get: £50–55k salary (depending on experience) On-site gym Free on-site parking 33 days holiday (increasing with service) Life assurance (3x salary) Enhanced maternity & paternity packages You’ll play a pivotal role in ensuring financial integrity, supporting strategic decision-making, and driving best practice across the finance function.
