Dental Receptionist Job - Part-time Position (Monday to Wednesday)
Location: Surbiton
We are looking for a professional and experienced Dental Receptionist to join our team. This is a key role within our practice, requiring a candidate with a strong understanding of dental front desk operations and patient management. Prior experience working in a dental practice is essential, as we need someone who can integrate seamlessly into our team and provide exceptional service from day one.
Key Details:
* Trial Shift: A 4-hour paid trial shift will be required prior to any job offer being made
* Salary: Potential to earn up to £14 per hour based on experience and demonstrated competence
* Working Hours: Part-time position
* Interview Availability: Monday, Tuesday, Thursday, and Friday between 10:00 AM and 1:00 PM
Key Responsibilities:
* Welcoming and assisting patients in a professional and friendly manner
* Managing appointment scheduling and ensuring efficient diary management
* Handling patient enquiries, both in person and over the phone, with professionalism and accuracy
* Processing payments, insurance claims, and patient records efficiently
* Coordinating with clinical and administrative teams to ensure seamless patient care
* Maintaining a well-organised reception area and ensuring all administrative tasks are completed effectively
Candidate Requirements:
* Prior experience in a dental practice reception role is essential
* Strong communication and interpersonal skills, with the ability to provide excellent patient service
* Highly organised with excellent time management skills
* Ability to handle multiple tasks efficiently in a busy environment
* Professional approach, maintaining discretion and confidentiality at all times
