JOB: Project Engineer
LOCATION: Liverpool
TERM: Permanent
Salary: GBP 35,000 - GBP 45,000 (Dependent on experience)
My client is a manufacturer in the machinery and process sector. They are looking for a Project Engineer to join their team in Liverpool on a permanent basis.
The Project Engineer Will Ideally Have The Following Attributes
* HND/ Degree qualified in Engineering / a similar STEM subject
* 3 or more years' experience in Project Engineering from working in a similar role or environment
* Experienced working in a highly regulated industry
* Proficient with using MS Office
* Excellent communication skills both verbal and written
* Flexible to travel as part of the role as required
* Engaged, enthusiastic and proactive with a systematic approach to work
* Able to work well alone as well as in a team
The Project Engineer Role Will Involve
* As a hands-on Project Engineer you will be taking designs and implementing them
* Technical assessment, analysis and review of full lifecycle projects
* Scheduling, cost and quality control
* Line managing direct reports
* Mentoring others
* Communicating with customers to ensure specifications are met
* Supporting the Project Manager
* Involved in purchasing for projects and chasing suppliers as and when required
* Preparing the required project related documentation and drawings
