Our core business activities are teaching and learning, widening access to education, research and innovation and technology and knowledge transfer. - THE ROLE - The role holder will provide a comprehensive and high standard of technical support for teaching and research activities, ensuring efficient and effective operations across the various clinical, anatomy and problem-based learning spaces. They will use in-depth knowledge and understanding of current technical, clinical and scientific skills in order to interpret and facilitate staff/student/customer requirements and will be expected to update their knowledge in line with new research and technology as it becomes available. The role holder will work as part of the technical support, and broader multidisciplinary team, to diagnose and resolve technical issues/problems, install and configure, and maintain new equipment and perform experimental investigation and analysis, as required. The post holder will also provide equivalent cover in other areas within the Faculty when required. - ABOUT YOU - - A levels or BTEC ND/NC or equivalent qualification in a relevant clinical, scientific or technical subject. Or A levels or BTEC ND/NC or equivalent qualification and can demonstrate working knowledge by means of experience in a relevant area. - Working experience, at an appropriate level, in a relevant clinical, scientific or technical laboratory environment. - Knowledge and practical working experience in the use of a wide range of life and health science-related techniques and equipment e.g., clinical equipment, clinical trainers, immersive manikins, anatomy models and ultrasound.
