Your new role
* Choose your preferred schedule-flexible part-time or full-time availability
* Teach using pre-prepared lesson plans
* Ensure marking aligns with the school's expectations and guidelines
* Submit a brief handover at the end of each teaching day
* Bring strong knowledge of the Year 5 curriculum, including literacy, numeracy, and preparatory learning
* Help drive pupil progress and engagement through supportive and consistent teaching
What you'll need to succeed
* Availability to work, whether part-time or full-time
* Solid experience and confidence in teaching Key Stage 2, especially Year 5
* Excellent communication and classroom management skills
* Ability to build strong rapport with support staff and fellow staff
* A nurturing approach that supports diverse learning needs
* Positivity and professionalism when engaging with children, families, and school teams
