This position is located in the UK.

Key Responsibilities:

* To develop and implement quality and reliability standards for wide-bandgap power products that meet industry requirements and customer needs
* To establish best-in-class methodologies for testing and characterizing SiC power semiconductor devices to understand their reliability and failure mechanisms
* To design experiments and coordinate statistical studies to determine device reliability
* To lead and collaborate with R&D, Engineering, and Operations in establishing screening and burn-in procedures for SiC power devices
* To lead and contribute to quality/reliability projects, presenting results to senior management and external stakeholders
* To design requirements for quality and reliability test equipment and facilitate their development and transfer to manufacturing when needed
* To work closely with internal and external stakeholders, including R&D, Engineering, Marketing, and academic collaborators
* To represent the company in industry councils such as JEDEC or AECQ


Knowledge and Experience Required:

* A PhD or Masters-level degree in electronics engineering, physics, or a related field
* At least 5 years of post-graduation experience in wide-bandgap power semiconductor technology (ideally SiC)
* Experience in reliability testing of SiC MOSFETs and diodes at wafer- and package-level; GaN experience preferred
* A good understanding of statistical analysis and design of experiments
* Knowledge of semiconductor TCAD tools for device simulation
* Background in electronics engineering for system understanding in power electronics
* Excellent problem-solving skills, ability to identify problems and assess viable solutions
* Ability to effectively manage multiple assignments concurrently and prioritize tasks
* Effective communication and interpersonal skills, particularly in communicating technical expertise
