Learning Support Assistant – Secondary Schools (Newcastle) £90 to £110 per day (PAYE) Full-time and part-time opportunities available Do you enjoy helping young people reach their potential? We’re looking for caring, reliable people to work as Learning Support Assistants in secondary schools across Newcastle. You’ll be supporting students who need a little extra help in class — building confidence, encouraging progress, and making every day count. Whether you’ve worked in education before or are looking to start a new career supporting young people, we’ll provide all the guidance and training you need. What you’ll do: Support pupils with their learning in class and small groups Help students with additional needs to access lessons Build positive, trusting relationships with young people Work closely with teachers and SEN staff to support learning plans You’ll need: A calm, patient approach and good communication skills A genuine interest in supporting young people Reliability, flexibility, and a team-focused attitude Experience in schools, youth work, or care is helpful but not essential What you’ll get: Weekly pay through PAYE (£90–£110 per day) Free access to our online CPD and training resources A dedicated consultant who finds the right schools for you Flexible opportunities across mainstream and SEND settings This is a fantastic opportunity to make a real difference — helping students thrive, grow in confidence, and achieve more than they thought possible.
