The Atlas Training Product Team designs, delivers and continuously improves digital training and adoption products that enable effective use of the Atlas case-working system across Migration and Borders Digital. The team supports a large and diverse operational user base spanning Border Force, Immigration Enforcement, Customer Services Group and cross-cutting services, ensuring learning is accessible, current and aligned to live services.
The team owns a suite of core training products, including a centralised learning catalogue, role‑appropriate learning materials, a dedicated training environment for safe skills practice, and an integrated Atlas chatbot that provides just‑in‑time guidance and signposting to approved content. These products are maintained through regular analysis of user errors, feedback, service change requests and usage data, enabling the team to prioritise high‑impact improvements and reduce repeat operational issues.
In addition, the team leads a cross‑directorate Community of Practice, bringing together product owners, business change colleagues and subject matter experts to drive consistency, reduce duplication and upskill the wider organisation in digital learning practices. Through this model, the Atlas Training product team plays a critical role in supporting service stability, adoption and continuous improvement.
