Global Insight Conferences, a market-leading conference and exhibition company, is looking for an ambitious, accountable and hardworking graduate to join their Sales & Marketing department from September 2025.
If you like the thrill of the chase, closing a deal and earning high amounts of commission, then this sales executive role is the job for you. This is a superb opportunity for an excellent communicator to be in control of your own salary. Along with a competitive basic salary, you\'ll also receive commission for each sale you make. Commission is uncapped!
What will you be doing?
As a graduate assistant, you\'ll be selling delegate places to hot leads and enquiries as well as generating your own leads to hit and exceed both the conference target and your own personal target. You will manage the entire delegate ticket acquisition cycle, from prospecting to pitching to closing, PLUS:
* Researching and understanding new markets and buy/sell side dynamics.
* Communicating with senior executives via phone, email and social media including writing compelling copy in all of your written communications.
* Sourcing and building new databases of leads and potential new clients in line with various sectors and markets.
* Initiating, building and managing client relationships – delighting our customers!
* Being in charge of the networking room on the day to ensure a smooth running of your event.
* Upselling, cross-selling and forward selling to maximise your earnings.
* Inter-departmental collaboration, briefing and overall project management to maximise lead generation.
Who is our ideal candidate?

* Minimum B/6 at GCSE for English and Maths and a good set of A Levels. Ideally a degree in a relevant subject.
* A strong work ethic and the ability to hit deadlines and juggle multiple priorities.

* Excellent communication skills, verbally and written.
* Absolute attention to detail.
* Leadership, motivation and striving to be the best.
