As a Senior Data Administrator based at our Southampton site, you'll play a pivotal role in safeguarding the accuracy, security and compliance of technical project data across our Engineering functions.
What you will do as Senior Data Administrator
* Deliver Data and Document Management services in line with Leonardo's Configuration and Data Management Control framework
* Administer and control project data in accordance with national and international regulations (including ITAR and UK Export Controls)
* Operate and maintain secure data transfer systems
* Manage receipt, processing and transmittal of controlled data
* Maintain accurate transmission records and audit trails
* Support Engineering teams in understanding and meeting Data and Document requirements
* Contribute to the achievement of project milestones through effective data governance
This role offers the opportunity to further develop your expertise within the Data Management discipline while contributing to high-profile engineering programmes.
What you'll bring
* Proven experience in Data or Document Control / Administration within an engineering or regulated environment
* Knowledge of UK Export Control regulations and ITAR requirements
* Understanding of MoD security classifications
* Experience operating secure data transfer systems
* Familiarity with Siemens Teamcenter PLM
* Experience using SharePoint within a controlled document environment
* Ability to interpret technical documentation, drawings and parts lists
* Awareness of secure IT and remote access principles

This role is subject to pre-employment screening in line with the UK Government's Baseline Personnel Security Standard (BPSS). An additional range of Personnel Security Controls referred to as National Security Vetting (NSV) may apply.
