The Role:
The successful candidate will provide essential secretarial support to solicitors, helping ensure the smooth operation of litigation matters. This part-time role is ideal for someone with prior legal secretarial experience who enjoys working in a collaborative and detail-focused environment.
Key Responsibilities
* Drafting, formatting, and proofreading legal documents, including correspondence, court forms, and pleadings.
* Managing client files and maintaining accurate case records.
* Diary management and scheduling for solicitors.
* Liaising with clients, courts, and other legal professionals.
* General administrative tasks, including filing, scanning, and data entry.
Candidate Requirements
* Proven experience as a Litigation Secretary or in a similar legal support role.
* Strong understanding of legal terminology and litigation procedures.
* Excellent written and verbal communication skills.
* Exceptional attention to detail and accuracy.
* Proficiency in Microsoft Office (Word, Outlook, Excel).
