The Opportunity
Primary Objectives:
1. Provide analytical support to the global procurement team and wider business stakeholders
Key Internal Relationships:
* Procurement Operations Manager
* Head of Procurement
* Other Procurement Team members
* Other stakeholders in Information Technology, Business Finance, and International Office Managers
Key External Relationships:
* Third-party suppliers
Primary Responsibilities:
* Carry out low complexity and risk sourcing projects.
* Lead Analytical Support: Be the primary source of analytical insights for the Procurement team and other internal stakeholders. Conduct spend, opportunity, supplier/market analyses, prepare business cases, and perform tender analysis/scoring.
* Manage Reporting: Prepare regular reports for the Procurement team and other internal stakeholders, providing crucial data and insights.
* Support the management and maintenance of the HSF Procurement systems (Purchase order, Contracts Database, Spend Cube, Sourcing, etc.), including training and user support. Support and provide input on transversal procurement initiatives such as Strategic Supplier Evaluations, Diversity in the Supply Chain, and Procurement Social Value.
* Respond to internal stakeholder and external client inquiries, developing professional relationships.
* Conduct Research and Analysis: Research and analyze procurement category-related data to identify trends, performance, risks, and opportunities. Provide training and guidance to team members as needed.
* Provide administrative support to the Procurement Operations Manager and the Head of Procurement when required.
* Escalate issues to the Procurement Operations Manager and Head of Procurement as necessary.
* Undertake other procurement and administrative tasks as required.

Qualifications, Skills & Experience:
* Minimum 2 years as a Procurement Analyst
* Highly analytical and numerate
* Data manipulation skills including extracting, transforming, and analyzing data sets
* Excellent attention to detail
* Proficient with MS Excel
* Experienced with MS Power BI
* Highly organized, able to prioritize tasks and projects
* Ability to handle multiple projects simultaneously
* Strong interest in data and technology
* Methodical approach to problem-solving
* Effective communication, teamwork, and time management skills
* Adaptability to handle complex and non-routine work
* Ability to work under direction, use discretion, and escalate issues appropriately
Desirable:
* Experience delivering low complexity and risk sourcing projects, strong data visualization and presentation skills
* Interpersonal and influencing skills to build relationships with global stakeholders
* Excellent verbal and written communication skills
* Experience with Purchase-to-Pay systems
* Degree in business, finance, IT, or related field evidencing numeracy and analytical skills
* CIPS certification or similar experience
