Are you looking for a career in Engineering in a fast-paced, stimulating, and rewarding environment? We are currently recruiting Engineering Apprentices to join our March team at G’s, where we operate a Beetroot manufacturing facility providing great-tasting Beets to major UK retailers.

We aim to lead our industry sector by providing innovative solutions from Seed to Shelf, working with major food retailers across the UK and Europe. We seek individuals passionate about building a career in Engineering within the food manufacturing and farming industry, with opportunities to work with various equipment and machinery to gain diverse experience.
Responsibilities
1. Breakdowns/Fault Finding: Promptly attend machinery breakdowns and malfunctions, performing necessary work to ensure machinery and equipment are properly maintained.
2. Preventative Maintenance: Maintain a planned schedule of preventative maintenance to keep equipment in optimal condition, aiming to maximize yields, quality, and profit while minimizing costs.
3. Equipment Maintenance: Ensure all equipment is in safe working order, arranging timely servicing and repairs.
4. Research, Innovation, and Product Development: Participate in identifying new product concepts, varieties, and system refinements to meet customer needs and establish a competitive edge. Involvement in improvement projects, including design, manufacture, and validation of equipment.
Ideal Candidate
* Enthusiastic about the future of Engineering.
* A team player with problem-solving skills, adaptability, and logical thinking.
* Minimum of 4 GCSEs including Maths & English (grades 9-4) or equivalent.
* Good communication skills and ability to work as part of a team.
* Ability to thrive in a fast-paced environment.
* Applicants must be 18 or older due to operational requirements.
