Assistant Commercial Manager – Mitie Cleaning & Hygiene Services, Dudley, West Midlands – Full Time

You'll be part of a supportive team, helping ensure our services run smoothly and efficiently while learning the ins and outs of commercial processes in a fast-paced environment.
What will you be doing?
* Support the team with day-to-day commercial tasks and help ensure we meet contract requirements.
* Assist with maintenance work approvals, emergency notifications, and invoicing.
* Help manage insurance claims by gathering information and supporting negotiations.
* Work with finance teams to ensure costs are tracked and invoiced correctly.
* Contribute to training sessions and briefings to build your commercial knowledge.
* Keep track of important correspondence and updates.
* Assist with pricing, productivity analysis, and market research.
* Help produce reports and update service documentation.
* Support the creation of tenancy agreements and other legal documents.
What we are looking for
* Experience in the facilities management industry, ideally in a junior or assistant commercial or quantity surveying role.
* Great communication skills – written and verbal.
* Keen eye for detail and a basic understanding of financial principles.
* Organised and able to manage multiple tasks and deadlines.
* Ideally studying towards or holding a qualification in Commercial Management or Quantity Surveying.
* A willingness to learn about contracts and commercial processes.
* PFI experience is ideal but not essential.
