Salary: £40,000–£60,000 DOE

Join MASS at Porton Down and be at the forefront of Electronic Warfare (EW) innovation! As a Radio Frequency Modeller/Analyst, you’ll work alongside a team of 60+ specialists—engineers, scientists, and ex-military experts—helping to safeguard the UK’s defence capabilities.
What you’ll do:
- Deliver cutting‑edge RF modelling and simulation to support front‑line defence.
- Develop, verify, and validate software tools to assess EW systems and novel techniques.
- Contribute to research, testing, and analysis across air platform and mission survivability domains.
- Become a Subject Matter Expert with opportunities to branch into specialisms as your career progresses.
Essential skills & experience:
- Degree in Maths, Physics, Engineering, or related discipline.
- Experience with model development, simulations, and data analysis (MATLAB, Python, or C++).
- Ability to write reports and present simulation outputs effectively.
Desirable skills:
- Digital signal processing, RF modelling, and EW domain knowledge.
- Linux OS experience and scripting (BASH, PERL).
- Understanding of Air domain TTPs and version control (Git/Bitbucket).
- Interest in applying innovative technologies to real‑world scenarios.

- UK National, eligible to live/work in the UK.
- Eligible for SC-level UK Government Security Clearance.
