Do you have a natural passion for IT and want to start your career with an award-winning, managed services company looking after a range of clients up and down the country?\n\nThis is an excellent opportunity for an apprentice to join the Aspire Technology Solutions Service Desk team and to undertake a IT Support SCQF Level 6 apprenticeship.\n\nWeâre looking for enthusiastic apprentices with an appetite for IT and a positive attitude to be based at our new offices in Glasgow. Weâre looking for someone who is looking to begin their career in IT, who is comfortable talking to people, confident, friendly and has a great attitude to work. You will ensure the highest level of customer service is provided to all of our customers and you will be working with some of the latest technology systems.\n\nCommunication with customers will take place over the phone and via email whilst utilising fault-finding programmes that assist you to diagnose and fix customer problems remotely. Customer service is key to success in the role â living our values are woven through everything you do to guarantee that our service delivery is second to none. Provide 1st line support for the Service Desk.\n\nWork on support tickets and provide project support to senior engineers.\nAssisting the setup of desktops & laptops.\n\nDealing with ticket queries including password resets, new user requests and fault logging.\n\nAssisting with infrastructure refreshes.\n\nTelephony rollouts.\n\nProvide a first point of contact support to customers and maintain excellent customer service via; Phone, Email and The Portal.\n\nLiaise with internal customers to ensure that services are being delivered.\nWork with SLAâs whilst delivering efficient resolutions towards First Time Fix Rates. Excellent communication skills both verbal and written.\n\nA keen interest in learning new IT technologies.\n\nPositive and resilient attitude.\n\nCustomer focussed.\n\nPersonable and friendly.\n\nWell organised and takes the initiative.\n\nA logical approach to troubleshooting hardware and software issues.\n\nGood attention to detail.\n\nWe understand that you might not have all of the qualifications and experiences that we think are key to succeeding in this role therefore we provide continuous learning and development.
