We are currently looking to recruit to inpatient wards at Bournemouth Hospital. These are permanent positions within the cancer care directorate.
This role requires a care certificate.
This post is being advertised as a Band 3, however applicants that do not meet the required care certificate competencies will initially be employed as a Band 2. Applicants who hold a care certificate accreditation will start in post at Band 3.
As part of the interview process you will be asked to complete a numeracy and literacy assessment.

Key Responsibilities
* Provide basic care and support to patients in various settings
* Responsible for tasks such as hygiene, mobility, feeding, observations, and medication
* Involved in keeping the environment and equipment clean and safe
* Part of the wider healthcare team that includes nurses, doctors, and other professionals
* Take patient observations such as blood pressure, temperature, oxygen saturations and pulse
* Help patients with meal times and feeding
