Freelance Senior Engineer - Excellent Rate - Long Term Contract Your new company You will be joining a forward-thinking and innovative Tier 1 contractor whose main purpose is building a better society with a customer-focused mindset. This contractor has an exciting opportunity to work on a dual-carriageway project in the Birmingham area which you will be a part of. Your new role You will be responsible for the demolition of an existing sports clubhouse as well as elements of sitewide roadworks. In addition, you will manage site engineers, demolition subcontractors whilst ensuring the delivery of your section exceeds safety and quality standards. You will be involved in the programming by producing a 3-month lookahead and plans for your works section considering constraints and communicate them with relevant stakeholders. What you'll need to succeed In order to succeed, you will have a Civil Engineering Degree or HND in Civil Engineering, CSCS Card and SMSTS. In addition to this, experience with demolition or managing demolition subcontractors is favourable however not essential. You will have previous experience with highway construction and excavation works.
