We are seeking a proven Project Manager with up to 3 years of project management experience in a financial services environment, preferably insurance, to join our team, reporting to our Gloucester Office.
Key Responsibilities include:
1. Scoping, Planning & Scheduling: Ensure scope is clearly defined, and project deliverables meet business requirements and objectives. Develop and maintain the project plan from initiation to closure, understanding dependencies and risks. Coordinate activities/resources, capturing actual costs and re-planning as necessary.
2. Business Benefit & Financial Management: Draft business cases for projects under your management. Manage change control to ensure delivery within approved budgets.
3. Delivery, Communication & Resource Management: Manage issues proactively, ensuring quality standards are met through testing. Deliver effective change and configuration management. Provide regular updates to stakeholders and escalate issues timely. Identify and evaluate risks, developing action plans with the Head of Transformation to mitigate impacts. Manage stakeholder relationships, expectations, and facilitate conflict resolution.
4. Governance: Deliver artefacts per project management methodology, provide management reports, and ensure documentation is up to date. Conduct formal project reviews and closures. Comply with regulatory, compliance, and financial standards such as Data Protection, Health and Safety, FCA standards, and company policies.
