We've got a crackin' opportunity for a HR Advisor to join this HR team in Gateshead. Howay, man, if you're up for a challenge in the fast-paced world of FMCG, this could be the job for you. Reporting to the HR Manager, you'll be right in the thick of it, supporting the delivery of a fully comprehensive, generalist HR service to the business. Key Duties: • Helping managers with Employee Relations queries and giving sound HR advice throughout informal and formal processes. • Supporting the HR Manager in dishing out employee engagement initiatives. Howay, let's keep the team happy • Taking the lead on recruitment processes, including sorting out agency staff placements. • Managing absence cases and providing reports on site absence levels. Keep an eye on who's in and who's off, like. • Getting new joiners sorted with onboarding, including handing out new starter paperwork. • Working closely with the Payroll Team to make sure all info is spot on and processed accurately. • Spotting training opportunities for the workforce and chipping in with delivery when needed. • Tackling HR paperwork – CoE, change to terms, leavers, and all other ad hoc admin tasks. • Reporting on HR metrics as and when required. No time for dilly-dallying • Previous HR experience – you've got to ken your way around the HR world. • Always striving for continuous improvement and personal development.
