Responsibilities
* Provide compassionate, person-centred care at the end of life as part of a multidisciplinary community team in Dumfries and Galloway.
* Support patients and families in their own homes, ensuring dignity, comfort, and continuity of care.
* Work as part of a wider care network to deliver holistic support tailored to individual needs.
Qualifications and Experience
* Minimum of 6 months’ experience delivering care in a health or social care setting.
* Full UK driving licence and access to your own vehicle.
* NVQ Level 2 qualification in Health and Social Care (or equivalent), or a willingness to work towards this qualification.
* Nurturing and compassionate approach with excellent communication skills.
* Ability to work independently while being an integral part of a multidisciplinary team.
Salary and Contract
Salary: Marie Curie Clinical Pay Scale Band 2 (aligned with AFC) £24,647 - £26,763 pro rata per annum + enhancements
Contract: Permanent Part Time, 27 hours per week. Night Shifts 10pm to 7am, with some occasional day shifts when required.
Location and Team
Based across Gretna, Annan, and Dumfriesshire and Galloway; community-based role.
