Business Analyst – Regulatory
Perm - London (Hybrid) - Package: £125k – 170k PA
We are currently looking for an experienced Business Analyst to join a growing Energy Trading organisation supporting their Middle and Back Office technology platforms.
This role will focus on regulatory reporting, trade surveillance, and system integrations across the trading environment. You will work closely with Middle Office, Finance, Compliance, and IT teams to ensure trading systems and processes remain aligned with evolving regulatory frameworks including EMIR, REMIT, and MiFID II.

Key Responsibilities:
Analyse and translate regulatory requirements into system and process improvements
Support regulatory reporting workflows and trade surveillance capabilities
Work with stakeholders across Middle Office, Finance, Compliance, and IT
Support data mapping, system integrations, and regulatory data flows
Participate in testing and UAT for regulatory and product changes
Assist with enhancements across trading, reporting, and integration platforms
Skills & Experience:
Experience working as a Business Analyst within energy trading or commodities markets
Knowledge of regulatory frameworks such as EMIR, REMIT, or MiFID II
Understanding of trade lifecycle processes within trading environments
Experience supporting regulatory reporting or trade surveillance initiatives
Exposure to ETRM platforms and system integrations
Strong analytical and stakeholder management skills
SQL or data analysis experience is beneficial
