Further information on the Council and our directorates The Role: CCTV Operators working as part of team that monitor cameras across the City and wider 24/7/365. The CCTV Control Room monitors cameras and alarms which at times can be highly intense and demanding and pressurised. The role of the service is to work with partner agencies and other internal teams to deliver the most effective service to ensure the safety and protection for the residents, visitors and other council assets.
