Job Overview
We are seeking a dedicated and efficient Warehouse Worker / delivery driver to join our team. The ideal candidate will play a crucial role in ensuring the smooth operation of our warehouse by managing inventory, handling materials, and supporting shipping and receiving processes. This position requires a strong work ethic and the ability to work in a fast-paced environment. Good knowledge of Yorkshire are would be preferred.
Duties
* Operate forklift and other warehouse equipment safely and efficiently.
* Handle materials with care, ensuring proper storage and organisation within the warehouse.
* Perform various warehouse tasks including stocking shelves, picking and packing orders, and preparing shipments for dispatch.
* Assist with shipping and receiving activities, including loading and unloading goods from lorries.
* Conduct regular inventory checks to maintain accurate stock levels.
* Maintain cleanliness and organisation of the warehouse environment to ensure safety compliance.
* Apply mechanical knowledge to assist with minor repairs or maintenance of warehouse equipment as needed.
* Collaborate with team members to meet daily operational goals.
* Mixing paint colours from 0.25lt to 5ltrs.
* Delivering goods to customers around Yorkshire.
Requirements
* Previous experience in a warehouse & delivering is preferred (but not essential).
* Proficiency in operating forklifts; certification is preferred.
* Familiarity with computer invoicing is desirable but not essential).
* Previous experience in mixing paint is preferred.
* Strong skills in materials handling, including heavy lifting (up to 25 kg).
* Experience in picking & packing, as well as shipping & receiving processes. .
