Project Manager
Location: Milton Park, Abingdon
Salary: £55,000 - £65,000
Purpose of the Job
To provide leadership, direction, and strategy at a competent level for one or more multi-disciplinary teams delivering projects that meet customer requirements while ensuring Nuvia's performance and profit margins are achieved. Manage project start-up and delivery, ensuring adherence to time, cost, quality, safety requirements, and risk management.

Key Accountabilities
* Delivery accountability: Responsible for all aspects of project delivery, including definition, design, procurement, manufacture, construction, and commissioning. Accountable for project financial performance and ensuring delivery aligns with the Project Management Plan (PMP). Manage project scope and deviations.
Project Launch
* Conduct Inaugural Contract Review meeting and review tender files.
* Set up project team, allocate resources, define roles and responsibilities.
* Hold project start-up meetings and establish effective communication with all stakeholders.
* Support customer interactions with external agencies and stakeholders.
* Implement security requirements and develop the Project Management Plan.
* Develop project delivery, procurement, and safety strategies.
* Ensure a robust design basis meeting project requirements.
* Establish schedules, budgets, and resource requirements.
* Set up project control structures like WBS, CBS, and OBS, and establish cost control methodologies.
Procurement and Subcontract Management
* Manage enquiry specifications, procurement exercises, and supplier selection.
* Review tenders, assess costs and performance, and manage subcontractor relationships.
* Monitor project costs, resources, schedule, and scope, taking corrective actions as needed.

* Demonstrate professional standards, legal, and technical compliance.
* Show commercial awareness and negotiation skills to enhance contract positions.
* Minimum 3 years' experience in Project Management or as a Senior Project Engineer.
* Proven experience in engineering project delivery and project management competence.
* Leadership, problem-solving, and conflict management skills.
* Full UK driver's license.
