We are working with a highly successful studio behind acclaimed titles enjoyed by millions, who are seeking a Senior Gameplay Engineer to join their experienced and ambitious development team. This role offers the opportunity to work on innovative, technically challenging games that push creative and engineering boundaries.
The studio is looking for an experienced developer who is passionate about building great games and enjoys solving complex technical problems. This is a chance to contribute meaningfully to projects from early design through to polished delivery, working with a team that values humility, creativity, and collaboration.
Key Responsibilities
* Lead the design and development of new gameplay systems and technical features.
* Collaborate with fellow engineers, designers, and artists to bring game concepts to life.
* Iterate on features based on team feedback and gameplay testing.
* Take ownership of code quality, performance, and scalability within your area.
* Manage tasks independently while contributing to team-wide development goals.
Key Requirements
* Strong background in software engineering, with deep experience in C++.
* A minimum of 8 years' professional experience in game development.
* Proven ability to self-direct and deliver high-quality work.
* Excellent communication and teamwork skills.
* Prior experience working in the games industry in a senior or lead capacity.
