Where will you be working?
We help our clients safeguard the water supply, improve environmental performance and manage demand for future generations. We enhance and extend asset life, ensuring compliance with water quality and environmental standards. We’re problem solvers with over 140 years of combined experience in engineering and infrastructure.
This role will be within our water and wastewater capital project delivery team. Our teams deliver large-scale capital programmes aimed at keeping water infrastructure resilient for the long-term while protecting the environment.

What will you be doing?
You'll be part of our repair & maintenance team responsible for maintaining Yorkshire Water's clean water distribution system. You'll be working on our WSP Yorkshire Water contract in Sheffield.
You'll need to be dedicated to safety procedures and highly skilled in managing a team, setting up live sites compliant with legislation, and engaging with customers effectively.
We'll need you to carry out national roads and street works signing, lighting and guarding.
Do you have a Water SHEA and EUSR national water hygiene accreditation?
Do you hold a EUSR CAT 1 & CAT 2 for safe digging & locate utilities?
What you’ll bring
* Proven knowledge of street works, red book and experience working within the water industry on R&M contracts
* Good understanding of how to read safe dig plans and experience of excavating within the highway along with IT skills
* Valid UK driving license with B + E
* Able to work unsociable hours and undertake standby duties
