The National Association for People Abused in Childhood (NAPAC) delivers trauma-informed training across the UK to professionals in various sectors, including policing, NHS staff, and social services. Our training helps these professionals better support survivors of childhood abuse, promoting safer and more understanding environments.
Role Overview
We are looking for experienced freelance trainers in Bangor and surrounding areas in Northern Wales to deliver our wide range of training sessions. These vary from short one-hour workshops to comprehensive two-day programmes and are tailored for professionals across different fields. As a freelance trainer, you will deliver our courses to groups such as NHS staff, police officers, and other key service providers. While a mental health or trauma background is not required, previous experience as a trainer is essential.
Key Responsibilities
* Deliver NAPAC’s trauma-informed training sessions to a variety of professional audiences.
* Adapt training delivery to meet the needs of diverse groups, such as healthcare providers, law enforcement, and social care professionals.
* Engage participants effectively to ensure they gain a deep understanding of trauma-informed practices.
* Represent NAPAC with professionalism, embodying the organisation’s mission to support survivors of childhood abuse.
* Manage your availability and choose the sessions you wish to deliver based on your schedule and expertise.

Requirements
