Social Care Workers (Main) – Community Care Resources
We are looking for kind, caring, compassionate and patient individuals who want to make a positive difference to people's lives.
What you'll be doing:
* Provide direct support to individuals in a variety of settings.
* Ensure that individuals receive high standards of care and support to maximise their independence and dignity.
* Support people with varying abilities and complex needs, enabling them to reach their goals and personal outcomes.
* Work as part of a team to provide high quality care, including intimate personal care, daily living skills training, social activities and other meaningful activities in accordance with individual needs and wishes, while supporting individuals to avoid danger and harm.
* Demonstrate the Scottish Social Services Council (SSSC) core values: Respect, Collaboration, Participation, Dignity and Empowerment.
Qualifications:
* Full Scottish driving licence (required or highly desirable depending on role).
* Registration with the Scottish Social Services Council (SSSC) upon commencing the post.
* Good listening, empathy, compassion, respect and a willingness to work as part of a team.
* Ability to travel within the community to support individuals (travel will be clarified during recruitment).
