Level 4 or 6 CIAG Qualified School & College Careers Adviser (Brentford) - onsite delivery only.
We are seeking a dedicated and enthusiastic Career Adviser to join our team for three days per week term time only from October 2025.
Responsibilities
* Provide high-quality careers education, information, advice, and guidance to students.
* Support the Careers Lead in achieving and maintaining the Gatsby Benchmarks.
* Ensure CEIAG Google Classrooms are regularly updated with current Labour Market Information (LMI) and relevant resources.

What you will have
* Level 4 qualification in careers guidance (CIAG) - with Level 6 welcome and salary will be considered according to qualification.
* Experience of working with young people preferably in a school or college setting
* Thorough knowledge of education, employment, training and personal development opportunities that are available for young people/labour market information.
* Provide careers advice and guidance in a one-to-one setting or group workshop/assemblies to support students with their career aspirations.
* Arrange career talks and a range of activities for students.
* Have the ability to engage with and inspire young people with SEND and disadvantaged as well as with their parents/carers.
* Support the Schools or College Careers Leader to implement and enhance the schools programme to contribute towards meetings the Gatsby Benchmarks.
* Demonstrate professional commitment to Children's rights, equal opportunities and diversity.
* Undertake administration duties to ensure that all delivery evidence is complete and compliant in line with contract and quality standards.
* Experience of working with vulnerable groups and those with special educational needs and disabilities (SEND).
Role type and schedule
This is a term time only role, 3 days a week (7.4 hours per day) to start from October 2025.

Starting Salary: £28,529.00 per annum FTE (this salary is based on being level 4 CIEG qualified)
