National Account Manager (DIY & Distribution) – Building Products
Area to be covered: National (2 days home based)
Benefits: £9,000 annual car allowance or company car & full benefits
The role of the National Account Manager – Wood Products will involve:
* Promoting a high-quality range of engineered wood products as a National Account Controller
* Managing, developing, and mentoring one direct report
* Focusing on managing one of our client's largest DIY distribution accounts (B&Q)
* Supporting new product launches and development
* Implementing pricing strategies
* Liaising with internal teams including customer service, marketing, supply, and transport
* Covering national territory with regular commutes to Southampton
The ideal candidate will have:
* A proven track record in sales and account management
* Experience managing large retail or DIY distribution accounts
* Previous dealings with the Kingfisher Group (preferred)
* Experience selling timber or wood products (preferred but not essential)
* Strong commercial acumen capable of creating sustainable contractual agreements
