Pay Rate: £110-£120 per day
Hours: 8:30am – 3:30pm
Contract: Start October 2025
About the Role
Are you a confident, organised individual with a passion for education? A welcoming and supportive secondary school in Cwmbran is looking for a Cover Supervisor to join their team. This is a great opportunity for someone looking to gain experience in a classroom setting or explore a career in teaching.
In this role, you’ll step into classrooms across a range of subjects, delivering pre-set lessons when teachers are absent. You don’t need to be a subject expert — just someone who can keep students focused, motivated, and on track.

Who We’re Looking For?
* Confidence to lead a class and manage behaviour positively
* Supportive of students’ academic, social, and emotional development
* Familiar with core curriculum subjects
* Experience working with young people (e.g. youth work, coaching, tutoring, school support) is desirable but not essential
Requirements
Teaching Personnel can provide guidance to help you obtain:
* Registration with the Education Workforce Council (EWC)
* An Enhanced DBS on the Update Service
* Level 2 Safeguarding training
* At least two professional references covering the past two years
