Overview
We are seeking a compassionate and dedicated Healthcare Sleeping Night Care Assistant to join our team. In this role, you will be expected to support the team if you are required to do so and provide essential support to patients in our care home, ensuring their comfort and well-being.
Responsibilities
* Assist patients with daily living activities, including personal hygiene, dressing, and mobility.
* Support the implementation of individual care plans tailored to each patient's care.
* Monitor and report changes in patients' conditions to the healthcare team.
* Maintain a clean and safe environment for patients.
* Provide companionship and emotional support to enhance patients' quality of life.
* Document patient care activities accurately in compliance with organisational policies.
Skills
* Strong communication skills in English, both verbal and written, to interact effectively with patients, families, and colleagues.
* Proficiency in IT systems for documentation and reporting purposes.
* Experience or knowledge of care home environments is advantageous.
* Familiarity with developing and following care plans is beneficial.
