Job Description:We are seeking an experienced and enthusiastic
Deputy Lead Science Teacher to support the leadership and development of the Science department. The successful candidate will play a key role in raising standards, mentoring staff, and delivering high-quality science education across Key Stages 3, 4, and 5.
Key Responsibilities:
* Support the Head of Science in leading the department and driving academic excellence.
* Contribute to curriculum planning, assessment strategies, and departmental improvement plans
* Mentor and support colleagues, including ECTs
* Monitor student progress and implement interventions to support achievement
* Promote a culture oh high expectations and learning
Requirements
* Qualified Teacher Status (QTS)
* Proven leadership experience within the Science Department
* Strong subject knowledge in atleast on Science discipline
* Excellent communication and leadership skills
