UX Designer Role at Lloyds Banking Group
We are seeking a collaborative UX Designer to join our full design team. The ideal candidate will be eager to learn from and support other Interaction Designers, comfortable working with existing design systems, and passionate about delivering excellent User Experience (UX).
Key Responsibilities:
1. Design and layout pages and User Interfaces using components from our central design system, balancing content and UI elements effectively.
2. Bring designs to life with prototyping tools such as Sketch, InVision, Figma, Axure, or Adobe XD.
3. Balance business requirements with user needs, applying research and rationale to align with internal stakeholders, and diplomatically advocating for the customer when needed.
4. Adapt designs to technical constraints across platforms while providing guidance on optimal user experiences.
5. Learn about and promote inclusive and accessible design principles to serve a diverse customer base.
6. Present designs to internal stakeholders and incorporate feedback to refine solutions.
7. Collaborate with UX Writers, Service Designers, and Visual Designers, understanding how to connect these disciplines through rapid prototyping.
8. Test designs with users, gather feedback, and iterate based on data to improve user experience.
