The School of Dentistry is looking for enthusiastic and motivated dental care professionals who are keen to teach our undergraduate students. You may be expected to undertake teaching including clinical supervision, practical teaching in the clinical skills laboratory and the delivery of lectures and tutorials in the School, as directed by the Dean of the School or relevant Academic Lead. In addition, you must be prepared to be involved in appropriate pastoral care and Academic Advising of students and to take part in the day-to-day running of the School of Dentistry. All academic staff are obliged to take part in the formal and informal assessment of students as directed by the Dean of the School. Staff are also obliged to take part in Peer Review of Teaching, attend Academic Unit meetings and participate in training.
