The Role
Are you a skilled Engineer looking to take ownership of complex manufacturing processes and drive technical excellence? We are seeking a dynamic ManufacturingProduct Engineer to join our team in Kelso.
In this role, you will bridge the gap between customer, design and production. You will be responsible for implementing lean manufacturing solutions across Printed Circuit Board and Mechanical Assemblies, maintaining customer documentation, managing Engineering Change Orders and validating processes. Key Responsibilities
1. Process Optimization: Design, analyze, and optimize new and existing manufacturing processes to hit strict quality, delivery, and cost targets.
2. Customer-Centric Solutions: Develop high-quality, cost-effective manufacturing solutions that precisely align with customer requirements.
3. Technical Ownership: Act as an independent subject matter expert for core manufacturing phases, managing technical communication for assigned products.
4. Documentation & Compliance: Produce comprehensive project and change-management documentation in strict accordance with customer & quality guidelines.

What We’re Looking For:
5. A minimum of a HNC or Bachelor’s degree in a Science or Engineering discipline.
6. At least 3 years of hands-on engineering experience in manufacturing.
7. Alternative: We value practical expertise—an equivalent combination of education and proven, relevant experience is also welcome.
Skills & Knowledge
8. Technical Edge: Strong analytical mindset with experience in statistical analysis & problem solving (Root Cause Analysis, 8D,Continuous Improvement)
9. Hands-on Capability:Experience in PCBA manufacturing, electro-mechanical assembly, Failure Mode Effect Analysis (FMEA) & automation is highly preferred.
10. Engineering Mindset: A solid understanding of product structure, Bill of Material & assembly drawing analysis, change management and cross-discipline engineering knowledge.
11. Soft Skills: Strong problem-solving abilities, intermediate computer literacy, and excellent written/verbal communication skills.
12. Collaboration: A proactive team player with a proven ability to build strong working relationships with both internal colleagues and external customers.
