Secondary English Teacher | Pay to Scale | Maternity Cover | CrawleyWe are seeking an enthusiastic and skilled Teacher of English to join a secondary school department on a maternity cover contract in Crawley. This is an excellent opportunity for a passionate teacher who can inspire students across Key Stages 3 and 4 and contribute positively to collaborative, forward thinking team.About the role:The successful candidate will deliver engaging, well-structured lessons that foster a love of literature and language. You will join a supportive English department with high standards, creative curriculum, and commitment to student progress.Key responsibilities include:
* Planning and delivering high-quality lessons aligned with the national curriculum.
* Assessing, tracking, and reporting on student progress.
* Creating an inclusive classroom environment that supports all learners.
* Contributing to departmental planning, moderation, and enrichment activities.
* Maintaining a strong communication with parents, carers, and colleagues.
