Role: IT Field Delivery Engineer - Site
Location: Plymouth
Contract Type: Permanent
Salary Package: £26,000 - £28,000 plus large company benefits, a broad flexible benefits scheme, and 2 paid volunteering days a year
Hours: 8:00 am – 4:00 pm, Monday – Friday

Role Purpose
To attend customer sites to provide support for IT hardware and software products within the required Service Level Agreement (SLA). Work efficiently and proactively to deliver IT support services to the customer.
Key Responsibilities
* Diagnose, repair, and maintain hardware (PCs, laptops, local and network printers, peripherals) across multiple sites as needed, including basic servers, AV, telephony, and network activities in line with customer requirements.
* Complete operating system and application-related incidents following customer and manufacturer procedures.
* Complete IMAC projects according to customer procedures.
* Communicate effectively with Call Administration, Service Delivery Manager, and site teams.
* Manage part movements (RMA generation & physical movement) promptly, returning items as directed.
* Achieve KPI targets set for the role.
* Adhere to all local site-specific Fire, Security, and Health & Safety regulations.
* Ensure all incidents are processed in the call management (ITSM) tool within SLA.
* Embrace and train on new technologies, maintaining required skills and knowledge.
* Perform any other reasonable tasks assigned by management.
* Participate in 24/7 coverage via a rota system (if applicable).
* Work overtime when required.
* Practice ‘Quick Win’ processes.
* Mentor other engineers when needed.
* Comply with management systems, company policies, and safety guidelines.
* Maintain company assets in good condition.
* Familiarize with customer policies and processes where applicable.
* Produce and update technical documentation as needed.
Skills and Experience
* Professional appearance and demeanor
* Full UK driving license (if required)
* Excellent customer-facing skills
* Self-motivated with good organizational skills, able to work independently
* Relevant technical certifications
* At least CompTIA A+ certification or equivalent experience, with knowledge of OS administrative tools, application support, and telephony
* Ability to work at heights and perform manual handling activities
* Positive behaviors supporting team productivity
