Junior Equity Settlements Analyst – Brokerage

A leading brokerage firm is looking for an experienced Equity Settlements Analyst to join its Operations team. This is a hands-on role ensuring timely and accurate settlement of equity trades and supporting front-office and clients in a fast-paced environment
.Key Responsibilitie
* sEnsure accurate and timely settlement of equity trades across UK and international markets
* .Monitor, investigate and resolve trade and settlement breaks, fails and mismatches
* .Liaise with brokers, custodians, counterparties and internal teams to resolve settlement issues
* .Perform daily reconciliations and confirmations in line with market deadlines and internal controls
* .Support process improvement, automation and control enhancements within the settlements function
.Essential Experience & Skill
* sRecent, relevant experience in equity settlements within a broker, investment bank or similar financial institution
* .Mandatory: Hands-on experience with CTM (Omgeo/DTCC Central Trade Manager) and Gloss – candidates without both systems will not be considered
* .Strong understanding of the trade lifecycle, settlement processes and market deadlines
* .High attention to detail, strong problem-solving skills and comfort working under time pressure
* .Clear communication skills and confidence dealing with front office, operations and external counterparties
