Job Purpose
This Managerial role will support the Deputy Head of IBA and Head of IBA in ensuring the efficient running of IBA Teams within a fast-paced Lloyd’s market environment.
Responsibilities
* Support the Deputy Head of IBA in ensuring all operations, including premium allocations, insurer settlements, and client accounting, happen in an efficient, accurate and timely manner
* Provide support to teams that will be responsible for the reconciliation of client and insurer accounts, resolving complex discrepancies.
* Work closely and collaborate with internal stakeholders, including Broking, Operations, Compliance, and Finance, to ensure timely and accurate financial processes.
* Ensure internal controls and processes are adopted within the Teams.
* Ensure monthly reporting is prepared for the Deputy Head of IBA so the Head of IBA can present to senior management.
* Continual review of IBA processes and procedures, identifying and implementing all improvements necessary.
* Supporting team members to identify development opportunities to maximise team members’ potential.
Knowledge/Skills/Qualifications
* Preferable experience in IBA operations within a Lloyd’s or London Market broker.
* Understanding of regulatory and compliance requirements (FCA, CASS).
* Proven team management and leadership skills.
* Excellent attention to detail, problem-solving abilities, and stakeholder communication.
* Has a strong understanding of customer service.
* Experience working with market-facing finance systems.
* Handle a fast-paced working environment.
