Talent Coordinator – Temporary Contract (2 months with potential extension)

Job Purpose:
To support the Talent Manager in delivering effective recruitment services across Early Years, Youth Services, Programmes, and Central Support teams.
Main Duties & Responsibilities include :
1. Onboarding process – DBS’s, References, Offer letters, Contracts etc
2. Manage the recruitment inbox, responding promptly to queries from candidates, managers, and teams
3. Coordinate and publish internal and external job adverts in collaboration with hiring teams
4. Review applications, shortlist candidates, and share CVs with Hiring Managers
5. Arrange and coordinate safeguarding interviews as part of the recruitment process
6. Produce and communicate a weekly recruitment tracker to support key people metrics
7. Ensure a positive and engaging candidate experience throughout the recruitment lifecycle
Person Specification & Key Competencies:
Personal Attributes
8. Ability and willingness to relate positively to customers and staff in a confidential manner
9. A willingness to learn, being solution oriented and curious with an appetite to continually review and improve processes
10. Proven ability to multi-task and prioritise a busy changing workload
11. Excellent verbal and written communication skills with both customers and staff
12. Strong interpersonal/communication skills (ability to build relationships and gain credibility to achieve results, either face-to-face or over the phone)
13. Excellent attention to detail
14. An ability to use your own initiative
15. An ability to work under pressure and accurately to deadlines
16. Good organisational and sound administrative capability
Experience required:
17. Previous experience in a recruitment administration or coordination role
18. Strong working knowledge of Microsoft Word and Excel
19. Experience using HRIS systems is desirable
