Protocol Education is working in partnership with a warm and inclusive primary school, seeking a committed SEN Teaching Assistant to join their team from September. This is a fantastic opportunity for recent graduates or experienced support staff who are eager to make a real difference in the lives of young learners.
Key Responsibilities:
* Provide 1:1 or small group support for pupils in KS1 or KS2, particularly those with additional needs
* Assist the class teacher in delivering engaging, inclusive lessons
* Help manage classroom routines and prepare learning materials
* Support children in achieving both academic and personal development goals
* Foster a safe, nurturing environment that promotes inclusion and emotional wellbeing
We’re Looking For:
* Experience working with primary-aged children in mainstream or SEN settings
* A genuine passion for supporting children with SEND
* A patient, adaptable, and proactive attitude
* A valid DBS certificate (or willingness to obtain one with our help)
* Strong communication skills and the ability to work effectively as part of a team

All pay rates quoted will be inclusive of 12.07% statutory holiday pay. This advert is for a temporary position. In some cases, the option to make this role permanent may become available at a later date.
