Job Description
The successful candidate will work on a hybrid basis in Northallerton/York, with the ability to attend in-person meetings and committee meetings.
Main Responsibilities
1. Review of the Combined Authority’s constitution.
2. Developing a scheme of delegation with colleagues in the Finance Department.
3. Supporting the Independent Remuneration Panel with their review of remuneration for certain roles.
4. Collaborating with colleagues in the Finance Department on the Annual Governance Statement and ensuring continuous monitoring of related actions.
Experience Requirements
* Public sector or local authority experience.
* Experience in governance, including reviewing constitutions and developing schemes of delegation.
