EVERYTHING YOU NEED TO KNOW
As a Wet Technician, you will mainly work as part of a crew of two, primarily responsible for delivering our wet well cleansing programme across the Severn Trent region. You will operate and perform some first-line maintenance on our Customer Operations assets located in Sewage Pumping Stations and Sewage Treatment Works.
This role follows a rolling four on, four off rota. It is based at our site in Branton, Nottinghamshire, with a future possibility of relocation to our Retford site.
Your key accountabilities
* Exhibit excellent organisational skills, work efficiently, and handle multiple tasks under pressure.
* Maintain a positive attitude and seek continuous improvement in team operations.
* Prioritize safety with a zero-accident mindset.
* Assess risks dynamically on site.
* Follow Standard Operating Procedures while adapting to changing risks.
* Analyze information to identify potential problems.
* Operate and drive the HGV jet vac vehicle fleet.
WHAT WE'RE LOOKING FOR
In this role, you'll use Severn Trent's jetting fleet, including trucks from 7.5 to 32 tonnes. You will work both on-site and on the road, so experience with similar vehicles and a valid HGV Class 1 or 2 license are required. Experience with wastewater treatment processes and wet well cleansing is beneficial.
