Part II Architectural Assistant / Architect – Private Residential
Location: Leatherhead, Surrey (within 40-minute commute required)
Salary: £30,000 – £40,000 DOE
Type: Full-Time, Permanent | Immediate Start Available
We are working with a well-established, design-led architectural practice specialising in bespoke private residential projects across Surrey and the surrounding areas. Due to continued workload and new instructions, they are now looking to appoint either a Part II Architectural Assistant or a qualified Architect to join their close-knit team.
This is an excellent opportunity for someone who enjoys working in a collaborative, friendly studio environment, with strong involvement across projects from design through to delivery.
The Role
You will work alongside experienced Architects and Architectural Assistants on high-quality, one-off residential schemes. The role offers genuine exposure across multiple stages, with the chance to take ownership of packages and contribute creatively.
Key responsibilities include:

Supporting and delivering residential projects from concept through to construction

Producing detailed drawings and technical information using Vectorworks
*
Assisting with planning submissions and technical packages
*
Coordinating with consultants and attending site meetings
*
Working closely with clients and the wider project team
Requirements
To be considered, candidates should demonstrate:

Part II qualified Architectural Assistant or ARB-registered Architect
*
Proven experience on UK residential projects (essential)
*
Strong Vectorworks proficiency (essential)
*
Ability to commute within 40 minutes of Headley, Surrey
*
Full UK driving licence and access to a vehicle for site visits
*
Strong communication skills and a proactive, team-oriented approach
*
Full right to work in the UK (sponsorship not available)
