Role:
We are looking for a friendly and motivated Assistant Shop Manager to help run our busy bakery shop. If you love great food, great people, and delivering excellent customer service, we'd love to hear from you.
Specific Responsibilities:
1. To deliver an excellent level of customer service across all aspects of the role, including serving customers, product knowledge, using the till, making hot drinks, making sandwiches, assisting with simple food preparation and patisserie assistance, following food safety and health and safety guidelines
2. To ensure a full, enticing and relevant food offering and retail display is present throughout the trading window.
3. To ensure all daily and weekly administration tasks are fully compliant (includes cashing up daily and weekly)
4. To ensure a consistent process for ordering and receiving goods
5. To assist in managing staffing needs (produce weekly rotas, manage annual holidays)
6. To assist with ensuring that all shop staff are trained in a timely manner and training records are updated accordingly
