Maintenance Manager Dungannon - £45-60K Job Purpose The Maintenance Manager will be responsible for ensuring the smooth and efficient operation of all machinery and equipment within the factory. This role will oversee the maintenance team and work closely with production, engineering, and quality teams to support the delivery of high-performance manufacturing. Key Responsibilities Lead and manage the site maintenance team, including engineers, technicians, and contractors. Develop and implement a robust planned preventative maintenance (PPM) schedule. Respond quickly to equipment breakdowns to minimize production downtime. Ensure all machinery and systems comply with health, safety, and food safety standards. Monitor and manage maintenance budgets, spare parts inventory, and equipment lifecycle. Lead root cause analysis and implement corrective actions to improve asset reliability. Support continuous improvement initiatives across the plant. Manage external service contracts and liaise with suppliers and OEMs. Prepare and maintain accurate maintenance records, reports, and compliance documentation. Participate in audits (e.g., BRC, customer, HSE) and ensure the maintenance function meets required standards. Champion a culture of safety, accountability, and high performance. Essential: Proven experience in a similar maintenance leadership role within a food manufacturing or FMCG environment. Strong understanding of mechanical, electrical, and automation systems. Demonstrated experience implementing and managing preventative maintenance programs. Strong leadership and people management skills. Excellent problem-solving and decision-making abilities. Knowledge of relevant food safety, health and safety, and compliance standards (e.g., BRCGS, HACCP, H&S regulations). Proficient in CMMS systems and Microsoft Office Suite.
