Regional Supervisor
This position will report into the Regional Manager and will be responsible for providing support and assistance to the Regional Manager by driving individual Operative performance, along with coordinating site coverage throughout the region. When required issuing charges to vehicles contravening the regulations of the car parks. The successful applicant must be willing to travel at short notice and be flexible in terms of working hours/days. This role will be field based and geographically specific however visits to Head Office may be required.
Hours:
Monday Sunday 5 days over 7
35 hours per week days and hours to vary on a week by week basis, includes weekends. (mirroring Operatives when necessary)
Salary:
£24,000 £26,000 depending on experience
Company Profit Share Scheme bonus with published KPIs (Paid Monthly)
Company vehicle/Company Car Allowance will be provided
Location:
* Field based role, Southern Region Primarily, Geographically assigned with homeworking as and when required (Typically one day per week)
* Field based with the following area's Manchester, West Yorkshire and Liverpool
Main duties & Responsibilities
* Maintain affective communication with subordinates, Head office and Regional Manager
* Provide coverage in instances of Operative sickness, absence or on vacant sites at direction of Regional Manager (no fixed site/area)
* Coordinate personnel to coverage on key sites throughout the region by ensuring coverage rosters are compiled and completed for the respective sub-regions, and appropriate site coverage is maintained.
* Deputise for Senior Regional Supervisor when required.
* Issue parking charges in line with location guidelines to expectation levels
* Pro-actively manage coverage in instances of Operative sickness, absence or on vacant sites, liaising with the Regional Manager
* Provide motivation, encouragement and mentoring to Operatives in region
* Provide feedback to Head Office/Regional Ops Manager on any concerns regarding Operatives
* To carry out underperformance discussions with operatives and record action plans.
* Liaise with Operatives in region to ensure that sites are patrolled correctly and in accordance with site regulations.
* Conduct regular Welfare visits with Operatives
* Provide Practical Training to all new starters in sub-region, ensuring all appropriate documentation is completed correctly.
* Focus on reducing cancellations in region by pro-actively managing issues as and when they occur, feeding back on corrective action taken and logging accordingly.
* Attend and patrol new sites and feedback on expectation to Head Office
* Work with Operatives to complete incident reports when necessary and submit to Head Office
* Provide out of hours support to Operatives when required
* Respond to all emails from UKPC Head Office in a timely manner
* Deal with & follow up all incoming enquiries efficiently
* Undertake ad hoc duties when required by the UKPC management team and as required by the business.
* Conduct return to work interviews with Operatives and submit to Head office
* Ensure out of office is activated to direct Operatives to Regional Ops Manager or support team in your absence.
* Liaise with Regional Ops Manager to ensure correct coverage during special events and contingency plans for before, during and after special events
* Proactively manage Monthly/Probation reviews with Operatives
* Take delivery of UKPC equipment (and uniform) when required and distribute to Operatives, ensuring officer manager is informed of any changes to distribution.
* Provide support and assist with any issues when requested by Regional Manager
* To Support Regional Ops Manager with Investigative process.
Candidates will:
* Have a clear DBS check
* Previous Operative experience (preferred but not essential)
* Be enthusiastic and focused individuals who are self-motivated
* Be courteous and friendly to all members of the public

Experience knowledge & skills required:
* Excellent communicator with a firm but fair approach
* Willingness to travel around region
* Previous management/supervisor experience preferred but not essential
* Able to work within a diverse team
* Computer literate laptop provided
* Excellent attention to detail
* An interest in the industry and a willingness to learn and adapt
* Ability to amend direction at short notice where required
* Able to work under own initiative with minimal supervision
* Must be self-motivated and a self-starter
* Must be required to demonstrate a strong work ethic
* Be capable of analysing and interpreting visual data.
